LLB (Hons) Law and Criminology

You will be encouraged to think like a lawyer from day one. Throughout your degree, you will work with practitioners from the legal sector, and put law into action through our pro bono activities at Roehampton’s Law Clinic and work placements. A high proportion of your time will be spent working face-to-face with tutors, developing your understanding of legal and criminological issues, and the core skills and competencies legal practitioners are expected to have.

This degree provides you with a Qualifying Law Degree, with a specialism in criminology.
You will be qualified to work in a range of legal and criminal justice related professions, for example, as a paralegal, crime analyst, practising solicitor or barrister. Graduates also go into policing, the probation service, the Home Office and the courts system.
