The qualifying route for solicitors in England and Wales is changing. The centralised Solicitors’ Qualifying Exam (SQE) will be replacing the Qualifying Law Degree (QLD).
If students firmly accept an offer to this, or another qualifying course, by 31 August 2021, they can follow either the QLD or SQE route. If students accept after 1 September 2021, they can only take the new Solicitors’ Qualifying Examination route.
The International Year Zero is the first year of the four year undergraduate course. IYZ is designed to help you gain extra skills in your subject area, as well as English Language, before you continue to year one of your chosen University undergraduate degree course.
Following successful completion of the IYZ, you will continue onto Year One of your degree directly with the University of your choice.

The scholarships are targeted at different regions around the world, awards range from partial contribution towards tuition fees to awards covering part or full pathway course fees at the international college.
